Prototypes airblast sprayers were developed for use in olive orchards. The prototypes were calibrated in the laboratory and tested in the field. The tower-structure prototype performed best in traditional olive orchards. The centrifugal-fan prototype performed best in intensive olive orchards. The six-fan prototype performed very well in both types of orchards.
