Novel solution-based method using ZnS-coated ZnO nanorod arrays. Cd free CZTS solar cell exhibits efficiency of 3.63% under AM illuminations. Optical band gap of CZTS ideal for fabrication of low cost thin film solar cells. Surface morphology kesterite CZTS on ZnS/ZnO nanorod array are compact and uniformly grained.
