The integration of the molecularly imprinted nanofilms onto the SPR sensors yields a novel sensing platform for detection of triazine pesticides. Tailor made SPR sensors having synthetic molecular recognition sites enable real-time and label-free monitoring of triazine pesticides. Optic based pesticide imprinted SPR sensors are easy to perform and can be a cost-effective solution due to the reusability of the SPR sensors. Directly determination of binding affinities from the rate constants presents a great advantage in minimizing time and complexity of the studies.
