Prognostic Value of Insulin-Like Growth Factor-Binding Protein 7 in Patients with Heart Failure and Preserved Ejection Fraction
文摘
Insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 7 (IGFBP7) was correlated with age, amino-terminal pro-B-type NP (NT-proBNP), and renal function in patients with heart failure and preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). Baseline IGFBP7 was prognostic in patients with HFpEF with regard to all-cause mortality, cardiovascular hospitalization, and a composite of HF hospitalization or HF death; higher concentrations are associated with elevated risk. Baseline IGFBP7 remained a significant predictor after adjustment for NT-proBNP and renal function, but lost significance in the fully adjusted model. Further studies are needed to understand the relationship between IGFPB7 and HFpEF.
