γ2-Herpesviral GPCR constitutively activates T cells. γ2-Herpesviral GPCR physically interacts with cellular CXCR4. CXCR4 silencing abolishes T cell activation by γ2-herpesviral GPCR. T cell activation by vGPCR is independent of proximal TCR signaling molecules.
