Effect of grafted PEG chain conformation on albumin and lysozyme adsorption: A combined study using QCM-D and DPI

DPI and QCM-D are combined to study the adsorption behaviors of BSA and LYZ.

The adsorption of BSA is suppressed by elastic repulsion energy of PEG chains.

The adsorption of LYZ is balanced by entropy elasticity and hydrogen bonds.

The LYZ adsorbed mass has the lowest value at a critical graft region of PEG.
