HPEI was grafted on glass fiber membranes via a two-step process. Surface grafting improves membrane hydrophilicity, flux and oil rejection. The membranes show high permeation and quantitative oil rejection. The membranes are robust to various chemicals except strong alkalis. The membranes are robust to long-term boiling treatment.
