The mesoporous TiO2 spheres is synthetized as host materials for lithium-sulfur batteries. The large pore volume provides accessible inner pores as a stable reservoir for polysulfides. The as-prepared mesoporous TiO2/S spheres show excellent cycle stability and rate capability.
