Stearic acid film imbedded in poly (lactic acid) & poly(ε-caprolactone) coated Mg.

Significantly smaller corrosion current density was obtained.

More important, manifestly slower and stable degradation manner was accomplished.

This is credited with its kinetic and hydrophobic contributions of imbedded layer.
