Fe0/WMF was very effective for removing CuII-EDTA at pH 4.0–6.0.

Little Fe0 passivation occurred during CuII-EDTA removal in 8 successive runs.

CuII-EDTA was removed via decomplexation followed by reduction/sorption.

A magnetic propeller agitator was designed to enhance CuII-EDTA removal by Fe0.
