Salecan treatment significantly reduced ConA-induced liver injury. Salecan suppressed the expression and secretion of inflammatory cytokines. Salecan decreased the expression of chemokines and adhesion molecules in liver. Salecan inhibited the infiltration and activation of T cells induced by ConA. Salecan partly recovered the metabolic perturbations induced by ConA.
