Peroxidase like activity GK-PdNPs was investigated using TMB in the presence of H2O2. The peroxidase like catalysis of GK-PdNPs followed Michaelis–Menten kinetics. The calculated Km = 23 mM for H2O2 shows strong affinity of GK-PdNPs for H2O2. Linear range of glucose detection was 10 μM–1000 μM with LOD = 6.0 μM. Method was applied to detect glucose in human serum samples with suitable results.
