Direct activation of CH4/N2O to oxygenates was investigated on the Fe-modified zeolites. Amount of α-oxygen and Bronsted acid sites significantly changed the product distribution. Fe/FER showed a high activity due to a larger amount of α-oxygen and acidic sites.
