Mathematical learning disabilities and attention deficit and/or hyperactivity disorder: A study of the cognitive processes involved in arithmetic problem solving

Arithmetic problem solving is studied from the PASS model. Differential cognitive profiles were located for children with MLD and ADHD. The regression analyses indicate characteristic predictors for each group. Executive functioning predicts arithmetic performance in the group with ADHD. Simultaneous processing is the unique predictor in the MLD group.
