Biodynamics of copper oxide nanoparticles and copper ions in an oligochaete - Part II: Subcellular distribution following sediment exposure
详细信息    查看全文
文摘

L. variegatus was exposed to sediment spiked with either aqueous Cu or nanoparticulate CuO.

Both aqueous and nanoparticulate Cu were marginally accumulated by L. variegatus.

Elimination of Cu accumulated from both forms was limited.

The subcellular distribution of accumulated Cu varied between Cu forms.

The use of a tracer, greater exposure concentration and duration are recommended.
