A novel concept of the FCL application in the field of LVRT of the DFIG. One single set of the SRFCL in the DC side of the RSC to limit high rotor over-currents. Extensive simulation results in PSCAD/EMTDC software under LLLG, LLG and LG faults. The main concept of the proposed method has been proven with a prototype setup.
