Human PRE-PIK3C2B interacts with activating as well as repressive complexes. hPRE-PIK3C2B as a transgene has a similar regulatory role in D. melanogaster. The binding of trithorax and PRC2 complex is inversely related to each other. hPRE-PIK3C2B in transgenic flies interacts with both Pc and Trx proteins. The localization of the repressive complex at hPRE-PIK3C2B is the default state.
