One-third of patients from the Spanish ABPM Registry fulfill the Systolic Blood Pressure Intervention eligibility criteria. More than 40% of these patients have values of daytime systolic blood pressure (BP) below 130 mm Hg. More than 20% have values of 24-hour systolic BP below 120 mm Hg. Office-ambulatory BP differences are highly dependent on the amount of BP elevation.
