The paper is concerned with the ship collision on monopile foundations for Offshore Wind Turbines (OWT). Non-linear simulations have been performed in order to investigate the collision resistance and the dynamics of OWT. The influence on the behaviour of the OWT structure of a series of parameters has been investigated. In the analysed cases the striking ship was considered as a rigid body, but also as a deformable body.
