Nd2O3 nanostructures were fabricated with a simple sonochemical route for the first time. 2,2-Dimethyl-1,3-propanediamine as a novel precipitator was applied. To control the shape, size and photocatalytic activity, different types of capping agents were employed. The photocatalytic efficiency of as-produced structures was compared with decomposition of eosin Y.
