The antigenic variation between NDV LaSota and genotype VII aSG10 was analysed. Major antigenic difference exists between two viruses under a single serotype. The aSG10 strain had significantly higher efficacy than LaSota vaccine. The results are valuable to control genotype VII NDV infections in field.
