Na+/H+ exchanger NHE1 is a signal scaffold in triple-negative basal breast cancer. NHE1 forms a complex with 14-3-3, AKT, α-enolase, CHP1, HSP70 and HSP90. NHE1 positively correlates with p90RSK expression in primary breast tumours. NHE1 associated with cytoskeletal proteins and chaperones NHE1 associated with many proteins that promote breast cancer
