We studied the lateralization of ERPs and MMNs to smooth and abrupt auditory motion.
•
The N1 and P2 responses were stronger in the right hemisphere.
•
The MMN responses showed no right-hemispheric dominance.
•
Direction of motion affected only the left-hemispheric ERPs and MMNs.
•
Sound velocity had no consistent effect on the lateralization of ERPs and MMNs.
