Synthesis of 15 papers comprising a Special Issue on shared, plural and cultural values. Shared values research links value ontology, elicitation, aggregation, participation, ethics and justice. Deliberation is a key way in which shared values are formed and expressed. We present 35 key future research questions around shared values and deliberation. Shared values approaches can enhance the legitimacy and comprehensiveness of valuation.
