Integrating microwave-assisted extraction with cloud-point extraction was developed. Extraction conditions were optimized by single-factor experiment and orthogonal test. Simultaneous extraction and separation of flavonoids and alkaloids from Crotalaria sessiliflora L. were selectively completed with higher yields. The mechanism was explored based on the extraction property of nonionic surfactant.
