Vacuum-assisted tailoring of pore structures of phenolic resin derived carbon membranes

文摘
Carbon membranes derived from phenolic resin by a vacuum-assisted method. Significant pore volume (2.2 cm3 g−1) and surface area (1910 m2 g−1) with vacuum. Water flux increased by 91% as vacuum time for membranes was raised from 0 to 1200 s. Vacuum assisted the polycondensation reactions of phenolic oligomers. Vacuum promoted a cluster aggregation mechanism with micro/mesoporous regions.
