Char can be produced continually without pollution via the technology discussed here. Each furnace treats 5000 tons of brown coal annually and the production was kept running for 1 year. High quality reducing agent for the iron alloy, calcium carbide, and yellow phosphorus are some of the products it yields. This technology offers benefits such as less investment, easy manageability, low energy consumption, and it is environmental friendly. Steam could be produced with the abundant energy for use in thermal supply and power generation.
