A facile and novel assay for AChE activity detection based on the peroxidase-like activity of PB NCs is proposed. This assay can be utilized to selectively detect AChE over other enzymes. This assay shows high sensitivity for AChE activity detection. This assay can be used for AChE inhibitor screening.
