Three aldehyde functionalized GOF membranes have been molecularly designed. The resultant GOF membranes displayed adjustable microstructures. GOF membranes exhibited greatly improved alcohol dehydration performance. Excellent long term stability was found for the GOF membranes within 160–200 h.
