The expression characteristics of cannabinoid type 1 (CB1) receptors in human odontoblasts (HODs) and their ultrastructures. CB1 receptors activated by 2-arachidonyl glycerol modulated the changes of intracellular Ca2+ in HODs. The functional coupling of CB1 receptors with transient receptor potential vanilloid 1 channels in HODs is clarified.
