Production and characterization of various kinds of genetically modified hIL-11s. N-terminal glycosylated hIL-11 variants exhibit potent characteristics as agonist. LoopA/B modified hIL-11s lack growth activity but bind to hIL-11R. Modification of non-core region of hIL-11 changes structure and signaling activity.
