Catchment scale OC redistribution follows fluvial sediment, 137Cs and clay dynamics. OC erosion rates were similar to those in less fragile subhumid catchments. The average OC concentration in sediments was higher than in agricultural soils. Reforested areas on well-connected slopes are an important source of OC erosion. Lithology, soils and morphology control OC redistribution more than land use.
