Whole genome analysis of B. anthracis reveals a new branch in lineage A.Br.Vollum. Swiss B. anthracis from a wool factory outbreak cluster with Pakistan strains K1129, CDC2002734233 and CDC 2002013132. Fifteen new strains were identified in the A.Br.Vollum lineage. New lineage A.Br.H9401 split from A.Br.Vollum very recently. HRM approach is able to discriminate accurately A.Br.Vollum strains.
