A statistical model combines two data sources to constrain volcanic recurrence rate. The most recent activity at Arsia Mons peaked at 150 Ma and ceased by 10–90 Ma. The average vent production rate at its peak was 0.4 volcanic vents per Myr. At the peak of activity, magma flux at the surface was 1–8 cu. km per Myr
