Blue agave residues were collected from tequila industry for cascade valorization. Organosolv pulping and TCF bleaching was used to obtain cellulose and black liquors. Lignins were precipitated from dark liquors from pulping and bleaching. Lignins were analyzed to determine their properties and their main components.
