Differential modulation of ammonia excretion, Rhesus glycoproteins and ion-regulation in common carp (Cyprinus carpio) following individual and combined exposure to waterborne copper and ammonia
文摘

Mode of interaction between waterborne copper and high ammonia exposure was investigated on common carp.

At equitoxic concentrations, the individual effect of Cu is more harmful while ammonia induces quicker adaptive responses.

Expression pattern of Rh glycoproteins were differentially modulated under experimental conditions.

Adaptive physiological, biochemical and ion-regulatory responses incited by ammonia were inhibited in presence of Cu.
