New [(η6-arene)RuCl(L)]PF6 (L = N,N′ bidentate ligands) complexes prepared. These complexes were characterized using 1H & 13C NMR, IR, UV–Vis, HRMS, and TGA. Four crystal structures showing pseudo-octahedral piano stool geometry presented. The compounds are good catalytics for alcohol oxidation to carbonyl products.
