Electrical, thermal and electrochemical properties of disordered carbon prepared from palygorskite and cane molasses

A high disordered graphene oxide-like conducting carbon is reported. The synthesis was based on palygorskite and sugar cane molasses as precursors. The disordered conducting carbon is composed of doped- graphene heterogeneous domains. This material combines a large specific surface area and high electric conductivity. The thermophysical and electrochemical properties of this material reveal adequate behavior.
