Potassium doping optimization in proton-conducting Ba1-xKxCe0.6Zr0.2Y0.2O3-δ oxides for fuel cell applications

This study first reports the K doping optimization in BaCe0.6Zr0.2Y0.2O3-δ oxides. The sintered pellet doped with 10% K exhibits highest protonic conduction. The Pt/electrolyte/Pt shows a significantly higher maximum powder density.
