Comparison of anesthetic management and outcomes of robot-assisted vs pure laparoscopic radical prostatectomy
文摘

We compared robot-assisted (RALP) vs laparoscopic radical prostatectomy (LRP).

This is the first report comparing the anesthetic management in RALP and LRP.

RALP was associated with less blood loss and need for fewer blood products than LRP.

Outcome of RALP was generally satisfactory except for postoperative nausea and vomiting.

RALP was associated with a higher incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting than LRP.
