New numerical method for a larger class of nonlinear PDEs, e.g. derivative NLSE. New operator acts on combined domains. Linear operator extended to case with series mixed derivatives. 3rd order accuracy. More accurate, efficient than Runge Kutta/difference methods. Produced accurate simulation-experiment match for non-linear propagation of light. Formulism, method of proof developed to extend spectral split-step methods.
