FEM of viscoelastic rotor shaft supported by anisotropic bearing is done. Modal analysis is implemented considering various types of asymmetry. Different types of modal behaviour are done through Eigen analysis. dFRF, Mode shapes, Campbell diagram, stability prediction are presented. Modal analysis of higher order is different from conventional second order model.
