Biological potential was assessed for 21 plant species from Spanish flora. The phenolic content, antioxidant properties and antimicrobial activity were analyzed. Phenolic content and activity were determined for the first time for some analyzed species. Antioxidant activity of some investigated plants was similar to Ginkgo biloba extract. Investigated species can be considered a new source of natural products.
