Review the response analyses of plastic plane (pp) problems using 3D material models. Develop an efficient DDM based response sensitivity analysis method for pp problems. Implement the new DDM algorithm in a general finite element framework , OpenSees. Verify DDM using two realistic pp problems, a concrete dam and a steel shear wall. Demonstrate the efficiency and accuracy of DDM by using finite difference method.
