The transition of c(4×4) – (1×3) on the surface of (100)InSb was investigated. It was shown that phase transition is analogous to the van der Waals transition. The phase transition was described in the framework of a lattice gas model. Transition c(4×4) – (1×3) behaves as first-order phase transition at the low temperatures.
