GPM and TRMM products were compared with rain gauge in geographic and seasonal effects. GPM showed better statistical results than TRMM in mountainous and coastal areas. Algorithm defect and aerosol reduced accuracy of both products on complex terrain. High accuracy of GPM in pre-and monsoon season resulted from its enhanced sensor. GPM with high spatial and temporal resolution showed decent spatial rainfall patterns.
