A hybrid solar-assisted desalination cycle was designed and stimulated. Maximum of 21,064.00 kW effective solar heat can be achieved. The use of parabolic-trough collectors in the Multi Effect Distillation is potential. The cycle can be applied in other regions with high Direct Normal Irradiation.
