BackgroundAfter combined treatment of injuries of the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) and the posterolateral corner (PLC) with extra-anatomical and minimally invasive augmentation by Larson’s procedure, a significant dorsal residual instability often remains. Better results are described with anatomical techniques; however, these techniques are often complex open surgical procedures. A new arthroscopic technique for a popliteal bypass graft to anatomically reconstruct the passive stabilizing function of the popliteal complex was therefore developed and is presented in this article.
