摘要
《民主主义与教育》是杜威20年间教育实践经验的总结,是他教育哲学思想不断完善和发展的理论成果。他以实用主义哲学,西方社会改良主义和机能心理学为理论依据,研究、探讨影响教育发展的三大问题,即"教育与社会""教育与儿童""理论与实践",对美国乃至整个世界的教育史都产生了深远影响。
Democracy and Education is the summary of Dewey's educational practical experience in the past 20 years,and also the theoretical result which he continuously advocated for the pragmatic philosophy system. On the base of pragmatic philosophy,western social reformism and functional psychology,he studies and explores three major issues affecting the development of education,namely"education and society","education and children"and"theory and practice",which has had a profound impact on the educational history of the United States and the world at large.
