After cardiac arrest, the ventilation strategy is used during cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR).The optimal ventilation strategy is uncertain.Current guidelines are predominantly based on evidence from observational studies and expert consensus;recent randomized controlled trials should provide further information. This study describes the current evidence during of ventilation strategy CPR.Current evidence supports a stepwise approach to airway management based on patient factors, rescuer skills and the stage of resuscitation. In the absence of evidence to favour a specific technique, rescuers should use the airway technique they are most proficient in during CPR and give the maximum feasible inspired oxygen concentration.
